Wyoming Approves Concealed Weapons in Churches
Governor Matt Mead signed the law yesterday.
The law is in response to the deadly Texas church shooting that occurred last November which left 26 people dead. As the law stands now, individuals had to obtain permission from the church. The law also allows for churches to sanction their members to open carry.
Gov. Mead is no stranger to conceal carry measures. He has signed many in the past, including allowing school districts to decide whether staff can carry weapons on school grounds.
